Tournament Casting Games on Sunday, September 27th

Finally, Callow and Miller put the hurt on Tournament casting games and now some of the big boys want to come play in our sandbox (pool). Announcing the first casting tournament that PCC has had in a very long time.

Come out and watch, close up and personal, as some of the best competitive casters in the country come to the PCC casting pool for an informal tournament at 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 27th. Perennial favorites like Larry Allen of Phoenix, Henry Mittel of Santa Barbara, Bob Middo of Long Beach and others as well as our own Michael Miller will be going head to head in the casting accuracy games, including the Dry Fly, Trout Fly, Bass Bug and Wet Fly games. Most of these athletes competed at the recent ACA Nationals in which Mike Miller set a new record, a perfect score in Dry Fly, for Senior Men.(see Fish Tales: Miller Prevails…).

Spectator seating will be provided, along with coffee and Danish.

PCC members who want to experience the excitement and personal challenge of participating in one or more the games are entirely welcome.  For more information contact Mike Miller (mmfoto@pacbell.net) and Eric Callow (ecallow@sbcglobal.net)  Mike and Eric  will be available over the next three weeks to familiarize any and all with the games. So give them a holler!
