PCC's Unique Facilities

The Clubhouse and Casting Pool are located in the Lower Arroyo Seco Park in Pasadena. The casting pool is one of only three in the state. The Clubhouse is open Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the exception of major holidays. This is where Club members talk fishing, tie flies, practice casting, and browse the library with its large collection of fishing books and DVDs. Visitors are welcome, and there are experienced fly fishers available to answer questions or to help you improve your casting.

The Casting Pool under construction

After decades of use, a renovation on the Casting Pool began in January, 2011, and was completed in April, 2011. The project was funded by grant funds specifically designated for the project along with a substantial donation from the Pasadena Casting Club. The grand opening celebration was held on on May 7, 2011, with the Mayor and a Councilmember of Pasadena in attendance.
