Founded in 1947, the Pasadena Casting Club is a group of fly fishing enthusiasts dedicated to the art of angling and casting, conservation, education, catch and release philosophy, and camaraderie through Club meetings, outings and events.

Support for Pasadena Casting Club Members


If you are a Pasadena Casting Club (PCC) member affected by a wildfire, we are here to support you. The club has set up a dedicated relief fund and resource hub to assist with recovery efforts.


Ways We Can Help:

• Financial Assistance: Emergency relief funds available for members who lost their homes or property.

• Temporary Housing: Connections to members offering housing assistance.

• Gear Replacement: Donations of fly fishing equipment for those who lost gear in the fires.

• Community Support: A network of PCC members offering emotional and logistical support during recovery.

"SAVE" DISASTER RELIEF CASH CARDS

The California Fire Foundation will distribute SAVE disaster relief cash cards at Victory Park Recreation Center (2575 Paloma St, Pasadena, CA 91107)starting at 9:00 AM through 4:00 PM on Friday, January 24, and Saturday, January 25.

Relief Details: Each card is valued at $250, with a limit of one card per household.

Eligibility: This assistance is exclusively for residents who lost their homes in the fire. 

Insurance Support Workshop In Pasadena

Our State Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara will be bringing a team to Pasadena City College to assist our residents in getting help, such as understanding their insurance policies, being aware of the resources available during the rebuilding and recovery process, and answering their insurance-related questions. Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of their insurance policy, declaration page, and any relevant correspondence related to their concerns. Those who want to make a one-on-one appointment should contact CDI's Hotline at 1-800-927-4357.

If anyone needs power (home, store, centers), we have 2k putt putt generators and 3.6k ecoflow battery packs that we are dropping off to folks for free. 

If anyone is inside the evacuation zone, we have the ability to enter with a fire department escort.
