Whether you’re interested in guided
trips, bargains on new gear, dinner with friends, or just
supporting PCC’s conservation efforts, the Wounded Vets Program, and
the Club's general operations, please join us Thursday, March 12th,
for PCC’s Annual Fundraiser and Dinner.
The fundraiser is being held early enough to allow you adequate
time to plan to use the trips and gear we’re offering this coming
fishing season. Prior to the event, you will receive an email with
details of the guide services and lodge opportunities offered so
you can review your fly fishing calendar prior to the auction. With
trips being auctioned that range from Southern California to the
Bighorn and many
other excellent locations (most are two-for-one offers), you have
the chance for a trip of a lifetime, as long as you plan ahead with
your fishing buddy or spouse. If you want to consider a list of the guided trips and lodge deals ahead of time, please send an e-mail request to wendaful1@hotmail.com.
We need your support! Along with membership dues, this
fundraiser is one of our two major sources of revenue helping
to pay for our monthly speakers, our conservation efforts, our
Wounded Vets Program, and everything else required to keep one
of California’s oldest fishing clubs running smoothly.
Invest in 10 raffle tickets for $50 or 20 tickets for just $75
(an amazing deal) and get the chance to win one of many great
prizes: The Grand Prize is an Orvis Recon Fly Rod (9’, 6 weight, 4 Piece)
with a matching Access Mid-Arbor III Fly Reel (a perfect combo
for trout fishing everywhere) loaded with an Access Weight Forward Fly Line, with a package value of $649. Other raffle prizes include a TFO Lefty Kreh Fly Rod (9', 8 weight, four-piece), a Foscam AC 1080 Action HD Video Camera, a Banana Republic Larkin Tote in Chestnut Leather, a $100 Gift Certificate for Sports Chalet, an Orvis Safe Passage Rod & Reel Case, and a Caddis Wyoming U-shape Float Tube. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Also offered will be many collections of flies hand-tied by the Club's premiere fly tyers. For the non-fisherpeople, we'll also have a variety of lifestyle items such as fine art, wine, golf lessons, and restaurant gift certificates.
The festivities start at 5:30 p.m., with the opening of the bar, the bidding on the silent auction items, and the preview of the live
auction items. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., silent auction bidding ends at 7:00 p.m., the live
auction begins at 7:45 p.m., and the raffle will be held at approximately 9:15 p.m. In addition to personal checks and
cash, we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and
Discover for auction items.
The dinner will be catered by the always-popular Perfect Equation, featuring a
choice of steak or chicken with salad, vegetables, and amazing dessert
for $24 per adult, $12 for children 12 and under. Family and
friends are welcome. The dinner registration deadline is
Friday, March 6th, and no dinner tickets are available at the door. You may attend the auction without
purchasing dinner; there is no admission fee, although you must
register at the entrance to obtain a bidding paddle.
