Annual Pasadena Casting Club Trip to the Eastern Sierra Nevada - Base in Bishop
Friday 24 - Monday 27, February 2023
We will base our operations out of Bishop, California, with opportunities to fish the Lower and Upper Owens River, the Owens River Gorge, Pleasant Valley Reservoir, Hot Creek, and (if you are willing to drive a little distance) the East Walker River. It is a beautiful setting of the different rivers and creek with a background (hopefully) of snow-capped peaks.
Trip participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation, lodging, and meal costs. Tom Smith will schedule dinners at Bishop restaurants for interested trip participants. There is no limit on the number of participants, and we hope that many club members will take this opportunity to join fellow club members on a fun trip. For trip participants who are new to the Eastern Sierra Nevada, Tom will hold an orientation meeting on Sunday, February 19.
Registration for the trip is required and trip participants should contact Tom Smith directly so that he will have the number of diners each night for the restaurant reservations.
